While all three Wilburn sisters enjoy carriage driving, it is Joanna's true passion. She drives whenever possible but finds even more fulfillment in teaching others. Her dedication has introduced many juniors to driving and showing, always emphasizing safety and a strong horse-driver bond.

With over 30 years of experience, Joanna has shown singles and pairs in Welsh Pony and Open Driving Shows and has competed in Combined Driving Events from Training to Advanced levels. 

Joanna has been a clinician at the Spring National Drive since 2010 and is a rotating clinician at the Fall National Drive, a recreational driving convention now held in Edinburgh, IN. She highly recommends this event to drivers of all skill levels.

A seasoned traveler, Joanna enjoys giving clinics across the country. Her sessions help drivers improve communication with their equines and include a speaker system so both drivers and audiences benefit fully.

Joanna has also successfully competed her own pony, Rollingwoods Berry Last One, earning numerous championships at various driving shows. Berry was a longtime winner of the Speed Division and a crowd favorite at the Germantown Charity Horse Show for many years, until his retirement in 2024.

Joanna occasionally accepts ponies for continued training but no longer takes on unstarted animals due to limited farm staff.
