"The Keepers"

"Lettie"
Ozark Let's Rock LOM/AOE

Ozark Let's Rock

1995 Section B Mare
(Severn Sirocco LOM/AOE/OD X Alra Jasmine x Cloe Olympian)

Sometimes you acquire a pony for one reason and wind up loving it for countless other reasons. This was the case with our Lettie. Originally, we leased Lettie to complete the Sire LOM for her dad, Severn Sirocco. After showing her we realized that this mare was special and we could not let slip through our fingers. So, we purchased Lettie and added her to our show string. She excelled in the driving arena, but her biggest success has always been in pet pony obstacle. Children would fight over who got to lead her because she had excellent ground manners and was always gentle with her handlers. She was always the best “babysitter” and we are forever grateful to her for taking care of countless children. She gave us some very nice foals (swipe through the gallery above for pictures of her offspring) and has now retired to live the good life living in the pasture with Rollingwoods Cookie Thief.

"Catfish"
Rollingwoods Catfish Cookies

Rollingwoods Catfish Cookies

1997 Section B Mare
(Findlen Marlin x Rollingwoods Lorna Doone LOM/AOE/OD)

“Catfish” is out of our beloved mare, Rollingwoods Lorna Doone. We sold Catfish as a young pony, but later reacquired in hopes of adding her to our broodmare band. However, this job was delayed, as Catfish was tasked with taking care of several children first. She is always honest and kind to her riders and in return is loved dearly by those who have had the opportunity to ride her. Finally, in 2018, Catfish got the retirement she deserved and joined the broodmare bunch. She has already given us a gorgeous filly, Rollingwoods Cat’s Meow and we hope to get several more babies from this mare before she retires with us. Catfish's offspring can be seen in the gallery above!

The Boys driving as a pair

Rollingwoods Berry Last One "Berry"

Rollingwoods Back In Black "BB"

Rollingwoods Back in Black and Rollingwoods Berry Last One or “The Boys” are section B geldings. They both drive singularly and as a pair in timed and pleasure events. The Boys were driven by Rob McCartney with Joanna Wilburn as Navigator in the KY Gala Combined Driving Event, placing Champion in the Preliminary Division, as well as Best Marathon Preliminary. Berry has competed extensively in CDE’s and Pleasure Driving and most recently has become an excellent teacher for both novice and advanced drivers. BB has split his time between both riding and driving and has brought along many novice riders and drivers. He is the perfect gentlemen both undersaddle and in harness. Both boys are still going strong and can still be seen competing at local shows, such as the Germantown Charity Horse Show and the Nashoba Carriage Classic.

"Elliott"

1995 Section B Stallion

(Gayfields Big Easy x Gayfields Mona L LOM/AOE)

"Elliot"

Elliot's Offspring

Rollingwoods Easy As L aka "Elliot" is a section B stallion, foaled in 1995. We sold him as a weanling because we had "too many ponies”. However, we had the opportunity to buy him back as a four year old and knew that we could not pass him up a second time. Even as a young pony, he excelled as a performance animal, winning in hunter, halter, dressage, English and Western pleasure, along with earning an Individual Legion of Merit. As a sire he has produced winners in the Welsh world as well as in open world in hunter, driving, English and Western Pleasure, and dressage, allowing him to earn his sire LOM. Now retired from both performance and breeding, Elliott is living the good life living, helping the mares raise their foals.

"Linguini"

Rollingwoods Unequaled LOM/AOE

2000 Section B Mare
(Rollingwoods Easy As L LOM/AOE/AOH x *Varndell Desiree)

"Elvis"

Linguini is a very special pony to our farm. Originally campaigned by Tassie Munroe, she won more ribbons than you could haul home. Following her time with Tassie, she was leased by multiple children with whom she continued her winning ways. Linguini has taught many children to ride and love a Welsh Pony. Linguini is now living with Jennifer Taylor teaching children the ropes of riding ponies!

Rollingwoods California Cookie AOH

2005 Half  Welsh Gelding

“Elvis” is the definition of a perfect pony. Regardless of what you throw at this pony he not only takes it in stride, but excels at it. Originally purchased by Michael and Kristi Clark for their daughter, Quince, he decimated the Open horse show world doing English, Western, Trail, and even working cattle. The Clarks sold him back to Rollingwoods and with the help of Mason Davis, he began his career as a hunter pony, winning the WPCSA Short Stirrup National Champion in 2018. In 2019 Elvis continued his winning ways with WPCSA National Champion in English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Half Welsh Hunter and helped Mason Davis win High Point Rider 12 and Under. As children grow, ponies must go to new children. So, Elvis has entered the Hunter world with Addison Lo McMillan and is tearing it up. He was Champion or Reserve every time out in 2020, but unfortunately he was unable to compete at Pony Finals as it was cancelled due to COVID.  Elvis has moved on to another child, and we are expecting big things from him. We are certain that whoever gets the privilege of riding him will love him dearly.

"Lex"

Rollingwoods Easy Choice

2007 Half  Welsh Gelding

(Rollingwoods Easy As L LOM/AOE/AOH x Practically Perfect)

Rollingwoods Easy Choice, aka Lex, is a superstar from our stallion, Rollingwoods Easy as L. Lex is a phenomenal mover, incredibly athletic, and super flashy. After doing an outstanding job with his father, Judy Fendley, our trainer, took this special pony on as a dressage prospect. Lex was successful in Training Level Dressage, First Level Dressage, and Second Level Dressage earring scores in the high 70s and 80s. He was in training for Third Level and was just weeks away from competing when an injury sidelined him. Now retired from dressage, Lex lives with Judy and is enjoying the good life in the pasture with an occasional ride. It is evident to anyone fortunate enough to see Judy and Lex work together how strong their bond is and how much they love each other. We are extremely fortunate to have them both in our lives.

"Jack"

Rollingwoods Hey Jack!

(Gayfields Say What?! x Cierra)

2007 Half  Welsh Gelding

As a young pony, “Jack” was trained and shown by Turner Davis, resulting in a very successful start to his show career. Gentle and kind, Jack is now teaching Mason Davis the ropes. Mason was very successful over fences and on the flat in 2020. Shown by Ann Riley Cotton, Jack was Supreme Champion Gelding at the Texas Rose Breed Show in 2020. Rollingwoods will forever be thankful for Jack and his willingness to show up for work....everyday, regardless of who is riding him. Jack is a blessing to have in our program and will always have a home at Rollingwoods.

"Lola"
Rollingwoods Give It Up

2008 Section B Mare

“Lola” has been exceptional from the time she was born. This mare is stunning and has an unbeatable temperament to go along with her looks. As a three year old she was a breeze to break and she excelled in the Welsh World as a young pony. Now in the hunter world, Lola is tearing it up wherever she goes. She has been to Pony Finals multiple times and packs children around courses like no other. We are excited to see what the future has in store for this mare in the show ring and we will be retaining her as a future broodmare!

"Sophie"
Rollingwoods Walk Softly

2014 Part-Welsh
(Rollingwoods Easy As L LOM/AOE/AOH x Merrydale Mandolyn
)

Thanks to our good friend, Elaine McInvale, “Sophie” has come back to our farm for Alex Clark to show.  This mare had been in Dressage training with Elaine and we are really excited to see Alex benefit from Elaine’s fabulous training.  Look for them in English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Low Hunter, AND Carriage Driving.

"Legit"
Rollingwoods On The Up and Up

Coming from one of our all time favorite lines, this mare is nothing short of exceptional. Paired with Ruth in 2019 and 2020, "Legit" won several national titles in both Carriage Driving and Halter. Now after taking a year off, she has rejoined our show string as a hunter pony and is loving her new career! Level-headed and fancy, this mare is destined for success and we can not wait to see what she accomplishes! Retained as a future broodmare.

"Boo"

Rollingwoods Not Yours

2016 Section B Mare
(Farnley Triton LOM x Rollingwoods Top Notch )

“Boo” was started by Anna Hutchinson at the beginning of  2020 and is turning heads wherever she goes. Along with getting good ribbons in the English Pleasure and Low Hunter throughout the 2020 show season, she was also Supreme Champion at the Texas Rose Breed Show. We can not wait to see what the future has in store for this mare and we will be retaining her as a future broodmare.

"Chicken Fingers"

Rollingwoods Show of Hands

2018 Section B Mare
(Gayfields The Heir Apparent LOM x Rollingwoods Sticky Fingers LOM)

“Chicken Fingers” is a gorgeous mare that we will be retaining as a broodmare. We expect that she will take after her mother, Rollingwoods Sticky Fingers, and become a top performance animal with one of the best brains around. After starting her at the beginning of  2021, we can say that this mare's future is very bright. We can’t wait to see what she accomplishes with further training.

"Topic"

Rollingwoods Hot Topic

2019 Section B Filly
(Gayfields Louisiana Man x Rollingwoods Unrivaled LOM x *Pendock Masterpiece LOM)

"Hot Topic" made her show debut at the beginning of 2023 and proved to be nothing short of exceptional. As a four year old, she has already garnered several Low-Hunter championships at her first few shows and we are beyond impressed with her. This mare is destined for success in the hunter ring and we are excited to continue watching her develop. She will be retained as a broodmare prospect.
